The first and main branch of Aquila Firearms and Ammunition opened November 8 2004 with Senate Majority Floor Leader Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan honouring the occasion by cutting the opening ribbon during the evening. The occasion was also graced by the presence of Mr Reynaldo Aguilos Reyes and Mrs Khristine Araneta Reyes of Aquila, Colonel Ariel Querubin of the Philippine Marines and his lovely wife Mrs Mariflor Azcaraga Querubin, AFAD (Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers) President Attorney Hector Rodriguez and Mrs Cecile Araneta Marcos to name a few.
Other notable guests were Mrs Patsy Cayzer, Mr Jun Atilano Araneta, Mrs Maritess Reyes, Mrs Giselle Araneta Yap, Mrs Didith Araneta Reyes, Mrs Neri and representatives from the Harrison Plaza Centre Management.
